We're located in New Port Richey about 25 miles NW of Tampa on Florida's Suncoast.
Welcome to the APRSfl.net website, your hosts are Dave Anderson KG4YZY
and Sean Fleeman N4SCF.
This site is dedicated to Amateur Radio's Digital APRS mode and current weather in Florida!
This is the latest live image from our New Port Richey Webcam 70ft
above the ground.

yesterdays sun and moon rise.
We operate this website in the public service tradition of amateur radio.
For a bit of background, APRS is a amateur radio system used by tens
of thousands of hams worldwide. It has two main ways to transmit and share
data, such as weather reports, current position reports, and two way messages
(similar to texting on a mobile phone). The first method is 2 meter VHF packet
radio and the second is the APRS Internet System (APRS-IS). Both interconnect with
I-Gate sites. You'll find considerable live data from our on-air station in
Port Richey and via the APRS-IS on this website. Most will also note that
we are amateur meteorologists as well. We publish real time level II high
resolution doppler radar, satellite imagery, our personal weather stations
& lightning detector, warnings notifications, tide predictions and the
New Port Richey Sky Webcam on our site.
